Child Safety Standards
Last updated 1 October 2026
These standards apply to A Better Discourse App (ABDA), the app published on Google Play and the App Store by Molecorp Esports Sociedad Limitada under the ForumCopilot name ("we"), and to ABDA Community, the forum we run. We have zero tolerance for child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM), anywhere the app reaches.
What is prohibited
A child is anyone under 18. Using ABDA for any of the following is prohibited:
- Child sexual abuse material: any photo, video, drawing, computer-generated or AI-generated image, or text that shows a child in a sexual way or sexualises a child.
- Grooming: contacting or befriending a child in order to sexually abuse or exploit them, online or in person.
- Sextortion: threatening or pressuring a child to get sexual images, money or anything else.
- Trafficking and solicitation: offering, advertising or asking for a child for sexual purposes.
- Sharing, trading or asking for any of the above, including links to it, and content that promotes, normalises or teaches child sexual abuse.
This covers posts, private messages, chat messages, profiles, avatars and uploaded files.
Who moderates what
ABDA is an app for reading and taking part in forums that run the Discourse software. The posts, messages and chats you see in it are stored on each forum's own servers and moderated by that forum's staff. ABDA does not host that content, and we cannot delete it from someone else's forum, but we act on every report we receive, as described below. ABDA Community is run by us, and there we moderate directly.
Report it in the app
You can report without leaving the app. Reports go straight to the moderators of the forum the content is on.
- A post or private message: tap ⋮ on the post, then Flag. Choose Illegal for child sexual abuse material or exploitation, and say what you saw.
- A chat message: press and hold the message, then tap Flag.
- A person: open their profile, tap ⋮, then Ignore user to stop seeing their posts and notifications, where the forum allows it. Flag what they posted too, so the moderators know.
Flagging needs you to be signed in to that forum. You can always email us instead, as below.
Report it to us
Email [email protected] with the subject "Child safety". Tell us the forum's address and the link to the post, message or profile (Copy link in the post's menu gives you one). Send the link only: do not attach, screenshot or forward the images or files themselves, as copying them can itself be a crime. We handle child safety reports before any other mail, and we do not tell the forum or the person you reported who you are, unless the law requires it.
If a child is in immediate danger, call your local emergency number first.
What we do with a report
On ABDA Community, as soon as we know of it, we:
- remove the content and suspend the account that posted it;
- keep the records the law requires us to keep for investigators;
- report it to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and to law enforcement.
On any other forum, we:
- tell the forum's administrators, with the link, and ask them to remove it;
- report it to NCMEC, and to the law enforcement or national hotline of the country where the forum is hosted;
- remove the forum from ABDA's forum directory if it hosts such material or does not act on it.
The law
We comply with the child safety laws that apply to us, including the obligation to report child sexual abuse material to the authorities, and we cooperate with law enforcement requests made through proper legal channels.
Age
ABDA is not directed at children under 13. Each forum sets its own minimum age for its members.
