Before you write

Most questions are answered on the FAQ page — how to get a forum listed, how notifications work, why each forum needs its own sign-in, and what data the app stores.

Reporting a problem

Include these three things and it can usually be fixed without a second exchange:

• The forum's address, for example meta.discourse.org
• What you tapped, and what happened instead of what you expected
• Your device and app version, from the app's settings screen

Quick fixes

A forum will not open. Check the address, and check the forum actually runs Discourse. Some forums sit behind Cloudflare or a login wall, or disable API access for apps; those need their own admins to allow it.

You are signed in on the web but not in the app. They are separate sessions. Open the forum in the app, open the menu at the top left, and tap Sign in.

Notifications are not arriving. Sign out of the forum and sign in again. A forum's key is issued once with fixed permissions, so a sign-in from before notification support does not carry the grant.

A logo looks wrong in dark mode. The app uses the forum's own logo and colours. If the forum only uploaded a light version, tell its admins — or tell us and we will look for a fallback.
